Manufacturing Process
Extrusion looks simple from outside — metal in, shapes out. The quality lives in the controls between those two moments. Here is exactly how material moves through our plant.
Inspected brass — much of it via the group's own trading arm — is cast into billets with chemistry matched to the target designation.
Billets are induction-heated to precise extrusion temperature — hot enough to flow, controlled enough to protect the alloy.
The heated billet is pressed through a hardened die, emerging as a continuous rod, hollow or profile with uniform grain.
Extruded sections are drawn to final dimension — tightening tolerance, improving finish and setting the required temper.
Material is straightened and cut to customer lengths, ready for automatic feeding on machines.
Under the ISO 9001 system, chemistry and dimensions are verified against the designation and drawing for every batch.
Bundles are identified by alloy, size and batch — any bar on your shop floor traces back to its heat.
Wrapped, strapped and labelled — packed to reach your machine shop in the condition it left the plant.
Why it matters
Controlled temperature and press speed give the consistent grain machinists feel as smooth, predictable cutting.
Drawing and straightening produce stock that runs in auto-feeders without stoppages or scrap.
The grade on the invoice is the grade in the metal — verified before dispatch, not assumed.
